About the Artist

Award winning self taught artist, is best known for her Batik paintings, featured on the covers of national magazines such has Yankee and Reader's Digest. Terri's mixed media and acrylic paintings were chosen for Interlochen Center of The Arts, summer art festival posters. She has been feature on HGTV and ABC's Home shows and has written articles for magazines such has Cloth Paper Scissors and Quilting Arts. Terri has traveled three continents for inspiration and exhibits.  She lived in Paris, attended International Batiks Gatherings in Ghent Belgium, The World Batik Conference in Boston MA and studied Mosaics in Ravenna Italy. Her recent invitations to exhibit were at the Museum of Fine Art Tokyo Japan, National Collage Society juried exhibit, Piece de Resistance Exhibit, Santa Fe NM and New Zealand to name a few. Terri's latest adventure was plein air painting in the south of France 2016. Coming home with a new collection of oil paintings.

Terri's work is collected world wide; her strong sense of design along with her romantic nature and painterly qualities has brought international recognition for her Fine Art Batik Paintings. Each of Terri's batik paintings reveals a command of materials and techniques; she is considered to be one of America's foremost Batik artists. Terri has mastered the traditional method of over dying and combines that with more modern techniques.  Her mixed media paintings often include batik paper and found objects. Her work has branched out to large acrylic landscapes, figures, abstracts and oil paintings.

Terri Lives in Little Rock Arkansas and summers in Michigan where she owned her latest gallery Les Sirenes Galerie D'Art. Her Little Rock Arkansas gallery is called The Art Group Gallery located at Pleasant Ridge Town Center.
